HOUSEFULL 2 Has Huge Sunday
Housefull 2 has done very well on Sunday as the families came out in a big way. The film has grossed around 16 crore nett on Sunday as per early estimates. The films that cater to family audiences always tend to show bigger jumps on Sunday be it Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi or Ready and now Housefull 2.
The IPL has affected collections like the first two days in various circuits but the film is still coming out with strong numbers.
Housefull 2 has done very good business in CP Berar, CI and Rajasthan over its first weekend. The collections in CP Berar and CI are better than Don 2 despite a less favourable release period.
The jump on Sunday was huge in places like Gujarat where clean fun comedies tend to outperform. A city like Surat collected 25 lakhs each on its first two days while on Sunday collections went towards 40 lakhs. The Mumbai circuit figure for Sunday is likely to come out in the 6 crore nett region.
