Black is not such a lucky colour.now no black is left in IPL. There is article in delhi times.Publication: The Times Of India Delhi; Date: Mar 30, 2012; Section: Delhi Times; Page: 33
Pune Warriors are the latest IPL team to ditch black in their uniform. Visual aesthetics or astrology?
You might never go wrong with black in the world of fashion, but it’s fallen out of favour on the cricket ground, at least for the IPL. In IPL 2, the Deccan Chargers gave up their black and beige uniform for a dark blue jersey. The Delhi Daredevils too, did away with black. In IPL 3, Shah Rukh Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders left black behind to don purple and gold jerseys. And the latest to ditch the sombre black for a bright turquoise blue for IPL 5 are the Pune Warriors.

Incidentally, the change of uniform colour from black has almost always boded well for the teams in question. Deccan Chargers did a complete turnaround after donning blue in IPL 2 and went on from being at the bottom of IPL 1 to winning the T20 tournament. KKR’s fortunes also changed for the better after they changed their jersey colour, though not so dramatically.
