2014 – A Numerological Perspective

Our lives and destinies are controlled and influenced by numerous factors, including the planetary influences and numbers. The numbers are an important part of our lives, and thus they exert a significant influence on us. Just like the planets, the vibration of numbers also affect the energy field around us. There are many important personal/ individual numbers – your birth number, your life path number and more – which influence our personal life. However, there is one number that bears an influence on all of us collectively by its energy – and that is the Western calendar year number.

So, what is the meaning of the year 2014 for us? Take the numbers in the year 2-0-1-4 and add them together. When we do that, we get 2+0+1+4= 7. So, 2014 is a Number 7 year. Now, what does it imply?

The number 7 is ruled by the Moon’s Descending Node Ketu. Number 7 is a seeker, the thinker, the searcher of truth, and it is considered as a magic number and is associated closely with mysticism.

This implies that as per the Numerological tenets, the year 2014 will be a very unusual and exciting year. It will make people aware to understand the hidden truths of life. It may also make people feel that nothing is exactly as it appears, and that the reality is often hidden behind many garbs of illusions. Many surprises await the mankind, and some of them might not be so pleasant. It is possible that more than one crisis may unfold in year 2014. It will be a year of transformation, consolidation and change for the betterment. Good news is that not all the changes shall bring problems, there may be some pleasant surprises in store too. But, the process of change is always rather difficult.

The year 2014 may also challenge people to remain focused and directed, while they may feel pulled in different directions. It may also be difficult for them to maintain their cool, especially when others may try to get more from them than they may be actually willing to give. People who are not aware of this energy of year 2014 may find themselves in difficult and defensive situations, but the ones who would be aware shall be all ready to accept the change. They will naturally be more prepared, willing to learn the lessons and thus, shall emerge victorious.

2014 is a year to introspect and think about the life, and evaluate all the experiences one may have gained. And, it would also be important to think about how to make the world a better place to live in. The introspection and evaluation of life may help many to identify the real purpose of life.

Globally, this will be a year of make-or-break decisions for many countries. Extremists may try to prove their superiority. They shall use violence and social activism to spread their perspective and opinions. People would realise that peace is possible, only if an effective system of global co-operation and governance is introduced. Big economic changes may lead to big political changes too this year.

There will be disparity all over the world, and deteriorating economic conditions may change many existing global equations. The threatening climate change shall also force people to think about the so-called progress, rampant pollution and more. This perception will help the world to build a comprehensive view of the future climate and saving the earth and atmosphere from further damage. Scientific and technological advances look set to transform the entire world. IT spending may also rise worldwide.

All in all, the year 2014 is going to be a truly exciting year – full of opportunities and challenges.
